Spreading Sheets across my blog..?

Kia ora Bloggers,
I'm back with a new topic for today, Rimu have taken their interest to learning how to make a graph using google spread sheet and I've produced something perfect to demonstrate it for you!

Typically I use a graph or spreadsheet not often so this was a nice activity and blog-post for me to actually make one. Since every morning we answer questions on our sign in sheet, Rimu had a question about our eye colors therefore those who were here on the day would fill out the question.

Which seemed pretty useful when it comes to making a spreadsheet graph, when all the information is already generated and listed for you to use. Unless you have another way of generating all the information from your class? Oh well check out the slideshow I speciffically made for making the demonstration of how to make your own graph using google spreadsheet!

This is a easy way to make proper graphs in only two minutes if you have all that information stored properly. Make sure you check out the video we learnt graph making from right here! (LINK)

How did you find this slideshow I scratched together? What else could you use a graph for? Have you used the same method of graph making as us? Whats better the video link or the slideshow? Hopefully you can let me know!

Thank you for learning graph making, I hope to see you next time!

  2. Hi Nikita! It's me, Hana! Your best friend, if you haven't noticed...

Anyways, I love this blog post. I honestly don't know how you did that in such little time. ;-; I mean, I tend to take at LEAST an hour or so to make a blog post. And if I have the chance, I might take a day or two. But THIS?? In like, ONLY 15-30 MINUTES??? I dunno how you did that. -_-

Anyways, back to the blog post. I love the presentation you made. It looks interesting. The title you chose is quite creative, too! The introduction tells us all about the subject, without telling the readers basically everything you're going to explain in the slide! I sometimes find trouble with that. :P

Funnily enough, I actually used the same data on the digital sign in! It's probably because it was the easiest, and most likely more interesting. A lot of other people did that too, I can imagine!

To improve, you could perhaps... uhh... Ya'know, I ALWAYS find trouble giving some advice to people who are on a higher level than me... Perhaps you could try and use a different website rather than google slides. Biteable is always a great plan B, I found!

And, to answer your questions. I found thi slideshow great! Especially when you just "scratched" it together! Another thing you could use a graph for is, well, a lot of different things! I mean, I would prefer to use it for getting opinions on things like FOOD. :3 And, I think that the video would probably be better, only because it actually visually shows you. They are actually doing it as well. But your blog post is still very good!

Keep up the fantastic work Kita!
