Pebbles? Saws? Leadership? How do they add together?!

Hello Bloggers!
Just Yesterday the year 7-8s we're finally split from the year 6's!! Until they came back... but while they were gone! Us year 7-8s had good fun with our Leadership activities! Throughout our learning process we started with a few visual learning ideas in the lounge and our first game involved, the teacher hiding 14 numbered pebbles around the room, whilst we stepped outside.

The rules were everyone had to be silent and the only sound was numbers, counting from 1-14 we had to touch each pebble in order without speaking but after touching a pebble the person who touched it would yell out the number, which helps the other people with calling out the next numbers.

Follow me through an adventure of the 7# habits of effective teens and see what us future leaders, have to show for the best example.

My reflection on this fun adventurous day, would probably be... the year 6's are more annoying than year 7-8's.. Just kidding! Or am I? But I find this experience memorising and I look forward to looking back on my actions has a leader, and think always before I talk. And remember to keep my attitude and anger hidden back when it's not necessary.

Have you taken a leadership role before? What have you learnt about the 7 Habits that could reflect you on the actions you represent has a Leader or Student? Have you crossed one of these Habits by accident? Let me know in a comment!

Thank you so much for getting this far, and hope to see you next time!
Bye Bloggers!

  1. Kia ora Nikita,

What an interesting blog. I found the 7 tips for effective leadership interesting and thought-provoking. I thought all were very important, but I especially like the idea of Win-Win. It wasn't what I initially thought it meant but your explanation helped me to understand that it is really about working together so that everyone wins.

In my new job I have to think about how I can be a better leader and mentor so your blog post has been very helpful.

    Thanks for sharing Nikita,
